Wightwick manor and Gardens

Just a 10-minute drive east of TheStudios lies the delightful National Trust property of Wightwick Manor and Gardens. The house stands as a testament to the Mander family’s love of Victorian art – indeed the family still maintains an apartment in the house, though the property has been a National Trust fixture since 1937. The grade I listed house was commissioned in 1887 and is a fine example of the interior décor work of William Morris and his Morris & Co company, with original wallpaper, upholstery and wall hangings still present. Whether you’re an art aficionado, enjoy the tranquillity of large gardens or are seeking a family-friendly outing, Wightwick Manor offers a fascinating glimpse into a bygone era.

Admission fee: £15 for an adult
