Welcome to the second excerpt from our ‘Life Stories’ series!
At TheStudios we strive for a sense of community, a home from home, and a place to interact with other working professionals. And we couldn’t achieve that without our fantastic residents. We’re so lucky to have many incredible people living here at TheStudios. Although they’re all living under the same roof, everyone has their own unique life – with all of our residents having an eclectic mix of professions, hobbies, interests, and stories, which makes for some interesting conversations! This makes TheStudios a watering hole to build connections!
And this week…we catch up with our lovely resident Maggie!
Meet Maggie
Maggie is 25 years young! (She’s just turned 25, so get your party hats on…) She was born in New Cross Hospital only 2 miles away from TheStudios. She’s never left sunny Wolverhampton, a true yammy! She lived in Lanesfield Wolverhampton, only a stone’s throw away from TheStudios with her adopted parents.
A Talented Creative!
Maggie is a busy lady and works two jobs! She’s a self-employed logo designer for various companies, and she’s also a sandwich artist for a well-known high-street shop. Maggie’s super creative, and studied A-Level Art and Design. She’s been commissioned for several paintings and portraits – so if you’re looking for a local creative for a painting or portrait then you know who to contact!
Hobbies and Interests
Maggie’s a keen hiker and walks regularly. Her Personal Best is an impressive 11 miles in just 3 hours! Maggie enjoys visiting Dudley Reservoir, which she finds a nice and relaxing environment. And when Maggie isn’t going for a long hikes, she enjoys a few cheeky cocktails at Hollywood Bowl at Bentley Bridge. It’s only 10 minutes away and boasts an impressive shopping complex with free parking, and more importantly – has a great selection of drinks!
Why Maggie Chose TheStudios
Maggie selected TheStudios because she wanted to get used to living independently. She liked the aspect of having people around her, as it was her first time living by herself. She felt like TheStudios was the ideal location and living environment. Maggie lives in a corner studio flat at TheStudios. Her favorite thing about her studio flat are the views from high up, and the warming sunsets that shine over the beautiful Shropshire hills in the distance.
She loves how warm and welcome the staff are, which makes her feel comfortable to ask questions or seek advice. Maggie uses our on-site gym, which is perfectly located just at our residents’ fingertips in the same building! TheStudios has a lovely team of staff who are always happy to help our residents!
