A real local gem, and one of my personal favourites in the area, this authentic Italian restaurant offers a small, well-curated menu of Italian classics, from lasagne to tiramisu. With a truly lovely, attentive, and helpful manager and staff, who are always there to make sure you have a stellar experience, and a range of comforting, warming dishes, we really couldn’t ask for anything more from a great, local restaurant.

Made in Thai
Made in Thai believe that ‘if food is an experience, then you’ll find it at the restaurant’, and we couldn’t agree more; eating there is a true experience. With beautiful, ambient décor, and an extensive menu including such classics as chicken satay, Tom Yum soup, Panang curry, and a range of set menus, this local Thai has the perfect recipe for a great meal out.

Café Maxsim is a tapas restaurant with a twist. Serving over 61 small sharing dishes from over 8 different Mediterranean countries, the great local spot brings the concept to a whole new level. And, with tapas classics like patatas bravas and chorizo, more unusual options like Grecian lamb meat balls, and a very extensive vegan and gluten-free section offering dishes like Turkish vegetable kebab and Chimichanga Hongos, there really is something for everyone. So what are you waiting for?!

If you’re looking for an easy-going, atmospheric, authentic Turkish meal, then look no further than Istanbul Restaurant. With a wide-ranging menu offering all the classics we know and love, like humus, falafel, meze, shawarma, kofte, shish, and a range of platters, if you want simple, non-fussy, and quality food, this fabulous restaurant does it extremely well.

Rosso e Nero
Rosso e Nero is a stylish but comfortable, modern but authentic, family-run Italian restaurant. With familiar classics like spaghetti alla Bolognese and tricolore salad, to more adventurous, less well-known ones like ravioli melenzane and pollo principessa, whatever you fancy and whatever the occasion, there’ll be something for you to enjoy. So, whether you need a spot for a quick lunch, a date night, a family gathering, or a reunion with friends, this local Italian is certainly not one to be missed.
